All Value Lights goods are produced to relevant British and European quality and safety standards and comply with current legislation. Measurements and wattages are given as a guide and may vary, please check the product literature supplied with the goods. All our prices are inclusive of VAT and exclude the price of delivery unless otherwise stated.
Products can be paid for by credit or debit card or using a Paypal account. Payment can be made using the secure checkout built into the valuelights.co.uk website with all options being available at the point of checkout on the site.
Delivery will be made between Monday and Friday.
All orders over £100 will be delivered free of charge anywhere in mainland Great Britain. Any orders less than £100 will be subject to a £4.95 delivery charge. For all other destinations please see our delivery costs page for details. Goods are normally dispatched within 2 working days of receiving cleared payment.
In the unlikely event of goods being unavailable for dispatch within 7 days you will be contacted by our customer care team and will be given the option to cancel your order without penalty.
Order by 12 noon and goods supplied within the UK will be delivered the next working day. Some larger products will be 3-4 days as they require specialist courier delivery (this will be clearly marked in the product description).
If no one is available to take delivery from our couriers, a calling card will be left. If you do not contact the courier, a further two delivery attempts will be made.
If the courier is still unable to deliver after this point the goods will be returned to Value Lights.
Please note you should examine your goods at point of delivery. If the package is damaged please sign delivery paperwork 'accepted package damaged' or if you so wish refuse the delivery.
Should you wish to cancel your order at any time you must contact us in writing (letter, email or fax), quoting your name, item code and order number within 7 days of delivery of the goods. The date of delivery will be as recorded by our courier.
At Value Lights we offer a 14 day no questions asked money back guarantee.
You must contact us in writing (letter, email or fax),quoting your name, item code and order number from your invoice within 7 days of delivery of any goods to be returned, shortages, or if you wish to report any damaged or faulty goods.

Once we have your contact details, our customer service team will contact you to help resolve the issue and in the case of goods to be returned, give you an authorisation number.
Goods sent back to valuelights.co.uk without a returns authorisation number will not be accepted.
All Goods must be returned in their original packaging, complete with all other associated components sent with them such as light bulbs and fixing packs.
Products should not have been installed, modified or used in any way and should be in an undamaged condition.
The cost of returning the goods and insuring them against loss or damage will be deducted from the refund of the purchase price if a collection is arranged by valuelights.co.uk.
Alternatively Goods can be sent back by your own method of transportation at your own cost.
We can either arrange for a part or full replacement of the damaged/faulty product and the delivery costs will be covered by valuelghts.co.uk.
You must notify www.valuelights.co.uk within 7 days of receipt (see returns policy above).
Valuelights.co.uk are in no way responsible for any cost incurred due to faulty goods or shortages such as electrician fees, time taken from place of employment etc.
Your refund will be done within 5 days of the product being returned to our warehouse.
These conditions are in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000.
Value Lights guarantees all goods (excluding light bulbs) for 1 year from the date of receipt against defective parts, materials and manufacture

A qualified electrician must carry out installation of goods to applicable standards where relevant otherwise this guarantee will be void.
If goods have become damaged as a result of misuse this warranty is void. After 7 working days from the date of delivery, goods returned will be repaired or replaced dependant upon the nature of the fault.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
