The Right Temperature.
We may be less reliant on our lighting in the home in the summer months, but when night falls, having the right colour temperature for your bulbs will help work with our bodies natural, circadian rhythm. The perfect colour temperature depends on the room, and the function. So rooms like the kitchen, bathroom or home office will benefit from cool white lighting, which helps you keep focused, and are bright to help you see for important tasks such as chopping or preparing food. Whereas warm white bulbs will be beneficial in rooms where you want to create a cozy, calm atmosphere, such as in the lounge or bedroom. Having low level warm white lighting in the bedroom will help with your bedroom routine, giving us a soothing glow, helping you to relax before sleep.
