The Benefits of Ceiling Lights in your Living Room

Firstly, what a way to give your living room an update without having to fork out for a total reno or full suite, eh?

Bringing in a new ceiling light for your living room can be the turning point for the whole rooms style and feel. Whether you’re entering into a whole new era of home décor or it’s just been a while since you’ve done much updating and things are starting to look a little… blasé (your words, not ours! We think it’s love and, er, retro). A new ceiling light can stop the space looking dated or change the tone entirely and make it feel like a new room.

Besides the aesthetic benefits of a ceiling light in the lounge it’s always handy to have a good, reliable overhead light. We know how much of a divide the big light debate causes and we’re not here to pick sides but even those of us who swear we’d never turn the big light on over our precious table and floor lamps… well, sometimes you just must. And it’s nice to know that you can count on it when you need it.

Although the jury is still out on whether an array of lamps is more energy efficient versus one overhead there is absolutely no one denying that an LED ceiling light in your living room is the way to go for; energy usage, cost, environmental impact and how often you can be bothered to get the step ladder out to change the bulb. So if you’re still rocking an incandescent bulb in your living room, that’s definitely worth changing, too.

How to Style Living Room Ceiling Lights

Not making a statement with your ceiling light is such a waste! All that lovely air that could be housing a stunning industrial pendant or bohemian rattan shade, maybe even a chandelier (if you can, why wouldn’t you?).
