The best outdoor lights to purchase for security are ones with motion sensors that automatically switch on when they detect movement. If of course, your reason to need one is for security. Then there’s the brightness because the size of your garden determines what size of light you need to illuminate a wide area. But there are flood lights too that you can purchase at lower cost which don’t have motion sensors. They just simply switch on from a mains switch.
