How do I place an order?
Easy! Browse our site, pop your favourites into the basket, and head to the checkout, where we’ve made the order process easy-peasy. We’ll send you an email confirmation once the order has gone through, so you know we’ve got it.
Can I use a discount code?
Absolutely! Just pop it in the promo box at checkout before you pay. One code per order.
Can I cancel or change my order?
We’re speedy packers but if your order hasn’t been processed yet, we can usually cancel or update it. Give us a call ASAP on 0161 837 6095 and we’ll do our best to help.
What payment methods do you accept?
All the usual suspects - major debit and credit cards, PayPal, Klarna and Clearpay (so you can spread the cost, interest-free).
What is Clearpay?
Clearpay lets you split your payment into 4 interest-free instalments, paid every 2 weeks. Perfect if you want to spread the glow. Check out the Clearpay website for more details.
Can I pay with PayPal?
Yes, you can! At checkout, simply select PayPal as your payment method. You’ll be redirected to the PayPal site where you can log in and confirm your payment securely. Once that’s done, you’ll be whisked back to ValueLights to finish your order.
Do you offer Klarna as a payment option?
Yes, we do! At checkout, simply select Klarna and decide whether to pay in full, spread the cost over 3 interest-free instalments, or pay later (eligibility applies). Once you've made your choice, your order will be on its way. Flexible, secure, and designed to make lighting up your home that little bit easier.
Delivery
How much is delivery?
Delivery costs vary depending on the service you choose. You can find full details over on our Delivery Page.
How long will delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 3–5 working days. We also offer Next Day Delivery for UK mainland addresses if you need your lights in a flash.
Do you offer parcel collection?
Yes! We offer a ParcelShop drop-off option for extra convenience, perfect if you’re not at home during the day.
Do you deliver outside the UK mainland?
Absolutely! We deliver across the UK, including Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. Delivery times may be a little longer for some areas, but we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
Returns & refunds
How do I return an item?
We’ve made it super simple and free! You’ve got 30 days to return your item. Visit our Returns Page to get more info and to start the process.
When will I get my refund?
Once your item arrives back with us, refunds are processed within 10 working days. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the money.
Can I exchange an item?
We don’t do direct swaps, sorry! The quickest way is to return the unwanted item and place a new order for your new favourite.
Faulty or damaged items
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
Oh no! That’s not what we want for you. Let us know within 30 days, send us a photo if you can, and we’ll get it sorted. Replacement or refund, no fuss.

Are bulbs included with lights?
Not always. We’ll make it super clear on the product page if bulbs are included or not.
Do you offer spare parts?
Sometimes, yes! Give our Customer Care Team a shout and we’ll see what we can do.
Warranty
Do your products come with a warranty?
Yep! Every ValueLights product comes with a 1-year warranty for peace of mind.

Do I need an account to order?
Nope, you can check out as a guest. But creating an account means easier order tracking and nippier checkout next time.
How do I reset my password?
Click “Forgot Password” on the login page and we’ll send you a reset link. Easy peasy.
Bulbs & fittings
How do I know which bulb I need?
Every product description lists the correct bulb type and wattage. If you’re unsure, check out our Bulb Guide.
Are your lights dimmable?
Many are! Just make sure you use a dimmable bulb when the light states it’s dimmable, and use a compatible dimmer switch, where relevant.
