1. Who we are - your glow squad

We’re ValueLights Limited, a UK-based lighting company on a mission to brighten homes without breaking the bank.

When we say “we”, “our”, or “us”, that’s ValueLights. When we say “you”, that’s our wonderful customers.

2. Using our website - how to stay bright

By using ValueLights.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

We update our terms occasionally to keep things current, so check back for the latest version if you’re curious.

Our website may link to other sites for convenience (like couriers or finance providers). We don’t control those sites and can’t guarantee their content or security—so use them at your discretion.

3. Your privacy - we respect your space

We take privacy seriously and only collect the data we need to provide you with a great experience. We’ll never sell your information to third parties.

4. Play nice - your responsibilities

When using our site, please don’t:

• Break the law (obvious, but we have to say it).
• Upload anything offensive or harmful.
• Hack us or spread viruses (big no-no).
• Step on anyone’s rights.

If we suspect misuse, we may suspend or block your account to protect our site and customers.

5. Our content - look, don’t lift

All the lovely things you see here, our text, designs, photos, and branding, belong to ValueLights or our partners. You can view, download, and print for personal use only.

But please don’t:

• Copy, resell, or use it commercially without permission.

Modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute our software or images.

6. Orders & payments - the practical bit

• All prices shown include VAT.
• We accept most major debit/credit cards, PayPal, and Clearpay (see section 12).
• Your order isn’t final until we confirm dispatch via email.
• If there’s a pricing or stock error, we reserve the right to cancel and refund your order.

Pro Tip: Keep your order confirmation email safe, it’s your proof of purchase for returns or warranty.

7. Delivery - your lights, on the way

Delivery options, times, and costs are listed on our Delivery Information page

We aim to deliver on time, but delays can happen due to events outside our control (like courier strikes or bad weather).

If delivery is delayed, we’ll do everything we can to keep you updated.

8. Returns & refunds - hassle-free & free-free

Changed your mind? It happens!

You’ve got 30 days from delivery to return your item. Returns are free and simple. See our Returns & Refunds page for full details. Faulty or damaged? Let us know within 30 days so we can sort it quickly.

Refunds:

• Processed within 10 working days after we receive and check your return.
• Your bank may take an extra 3–5 days to show the money.

9. Warranty - peace of mind, guaranteed

All our products come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing faults. If something goes wrong within that time, we’ll repair, replace, or refund it. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

10. Discount codes - the fun bit

• One discount code per order—no stacking, sorry!
• Codes don’t cover delivery or gift cards.
• If you return an item bought with a discount, we’ll refund the discounted price paid.
• Offers can change or end at any time.

11. Competitions - want to win? Read this!

Here’s how our prize draws work:

• Open to UK residents aged 18+ (unless stated otherwise).
• Codes don’t cover delivery or gift cards.
• One entry per person/email unless we say otherwise.
• Employees (and their families) can’t enter, sorry team!
• Closing dates matter, late entries won’t count.
• Winners picked at random and contacted within 28 days.

Prizes:

• No cash alternative.
• Non-transferable.
• We may substitute if something’s unavailable.
• Delivery of prizes: Allow up to 28 days, unless otherwise stated.
• By entering, you agree we can share your name on our website or socials if you win.
• Our decision is final. No arguments, no appeals.

We can amend these rules or cancel competitions if needed.

12. Clearpay - shop now, pay later

We offer Clearpay for interest-free instalments (late fees apply). You’ll pay in 4 equal parts every 2 weeks. For details, visit Clearpay Terms.

13. Sharing content – your pics = our happy dance

If you submit reviews, photos, or other content to us:

• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for marketing and social media.
• You confirm it’s yours and doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.

14. The legal bit - liability & limits

We aim for perfection, but we can’t be held responsible for:

• Losses we couldn’t predict.
• Indirect losses (like missed events or loss of income).
• Delays caused by things beyond our control (bad weather, courier strikes, etc.).

This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

15. Governing law - the serious stuff

Our terms are under English law, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.

We update these terms now and then. The latest version will always be here.
